Kelcie worked a miracle on my hair! I had my hair done at the Brick House Salon two days ago and it was so horrible. I wanted a balayage for my best friends wedding that I’m leaving for at the end of the week and what I got was weird, chunky, patchy highlights, not blended at all and like 2 inches from my roots..The stylist I had there asked me what I thought when she was done and I told her it wasn’t what I wanted. Instead of trying to fix it she told me that she didn’t have time and I could come back in for an additional fee. To top it off, the stylist I had wasn’t very friendly and was super rough in the shampoo bowl. I couldn’t believe that she let me leave the salon looking such a mess. The whole experience I had there was unprofessional, uncomfortable and I left unsatisfied and completely embarrassed with how tacky my hair looked. I was devastated because 1) it’s not cheap 2)she didn’t even do a balayage. She shouldn’t have done it if she wasn’t educated in the technique. Anyways, I was frantically looking for someone to fix it because no way was I going back there or showing up as the maid of honor with my hair like that (cue the heavens, the good Lord and everything holy!) I found Kelcie on Instagram and she was able to fit me in the next day! (Amen for cancellations!) She was so honest and upfront with me, took her time, paid attention to every little detail and made a masterpiece out of what looked like a dead raccoon carcass that was my hair. Not only is she super attentive, her client consultation was spot on. She asked all the right questions and made me feel instantly comfortable! Her rates are good and her work is worth every penny. I wasn’t expecting it to turn out this good and not because of her work but because of the mess that she started with! She blew me away and I left feeling 100% satisfied and beautiful! I could go on and on about her but there is no need. Her work speaks for itself, she is a balayage Goddess and if I hadn’t had such a horrible experience elsewhere I wouldn’t have found her so there’s the silver lining. If you’re considering this salon, don’t even think twice! She is the best stylist in this part of CO!
