Being that this church is ran similar to a business I will review it as such.
Pros:
This church is amazing in regards to how it brings people to Christ. The people, families and staff that have come and gone through this church are the salt of the earth. They have very talented staff they hire as well as in the offices.
Cons: (mostly opinion based, take with a grain of salt)
It is an amazing place to have people accept Jesus however beyond that there is very little fruit. Once a believer this church does not have much more to offer a new Christian in regards to growth. Small groups are highly monitored for for fear of them becoming too big to where they can start a new church and take their members away.
This church tends to care more for numbers of members/youth group rather than building quality and meaningful relationships.
The church is ran by, dictated by, micromanaged by the Long family specifically Rick. In order to maintain meaningful service relations to this church you must be in the same click with the Long family, otherwise you will find little fruit.
This church prides itself in never excommunicating a member which partially true. However they will invoke Matthew 18 incorrectly (when there is no sin involved just a disagreement) and take away any reason for you to be anything beyond a Sunday seat warmer to where you cannot serve and such. If you aren't on board with their vision as it were.
So unfortunately this church is more concerned about their image/reputation than they are willing to actually help fellow Christians who is struggling with sin. So this is a place for the healthy, even though church is meant for the sick. As such I have vowed to never step foot in this place again. And after this review if I did I'd imagine their overly cautious security volunteers would ask me to leave I'd imagine.
So with respect this review was fully intended to kick over a few temple tables in this church. I have seen this church define the definition of "church hurt" for too many families and individuals.
