Jason Park

We used to love this park, it had a giant baseball and soccer field but for the past five months, it has all been fenced off. Signs saying it is being renovated are doubtful as they haven't touched anything. A couple neighbors didn't like how the person who donated the land upon their death (in their will) left a stipulation in their will that dogs be allowed all the time on the entirety of the park, she loved dogs and animals in general. A year after she died the city first restricted the park hours so that 11am was the cut off time for dogs. Now, with over 70% of the park off limits to everyone. It seems as if only the homeless and drug addicts are allowed full time. I almost stepped on a used syringe last time I was there near the public restrooms. About ten feet away from the kids slide area. There is now only a small area close to the street left for dogs (besides the kids play area and one basketball court) If they start to renovate, I'll update this review... Only time will tell.
