BUYERS BEWARE: On my first visit to Lehrer’s I thought I’d test them out and spent just over $7,000 on six chairs and a fire pit. Everything was delivered and set up nicely, but there was a missing metal cap on the fire pit. When I called in to ask where it was, they said that it was another $220 for that piece. Shocked, I reminded her that it was part of the display, and that I was told that the final price included everything on the display (except the broken glass pieces, which I added to the order). Her solution: “If you don’t want it, then return it.” I told her that this felt like a total bait and switch, and she just kept repeating that I could return everything. Begrudgingly, I paid for the missing piece, but I won’t return here ever again and can’t recommend shopping at Lehrer’s to anyone. That is, unless you’re interested in spending a small fortune, only to be swindled and treated like you were at Wal-Mart. If you do shop here, make sure that EVERYTHING is included in your order, because they won’t. So disappointing.
