Motel 6 Fort Collins

I’ve stayed at Motel 6 before with no issues. This particular one could use some help! Room was mostly clean but with exceptions (what looked like boogers on the wall next to the bed, sticky floor, hairs in the shower). Weekend guests were loud, rowdy, and varying degrees of shady. As a woman alone, I was definitely uncomfortable (especially when the police arrived). Booked a smoking room (one of the few to offer it which is why I picked it) but the smoke smell was almost too much. But didn’t feel safe opening the window due to aforementioned guests and also there was no screen and the mechanism to lock it when open was broken. Tried turning on AC, but since it was connected to the other smoking rooms, it actually made it worse. Monday got much quieter and with the adjoining smokers gone, the AC got a little better. Front desk staff were friendly, but didn’t seem to know how to do things. Multiple guests stood at the counter for over 5 minutes without even being acknowledged and then when one did get help, it seemed they only got half of the agent’s attention as they tried to do multiple things at once without seeming very knowledgeable about their technology. I will definitely consider Motel 6 again, but NOT that location.
