One way rental from Colorado springs Airport to Denver IAP. They did not disclose electronic toll pass- I specifically asked if there were any other outside charges or concerns I need to made aware of prior to dropping the vehicle off at the airport. They stated that all charges were identified on my contract. Three weeks after my car rental usage, I had a charge process for Road toll fees on Denver's E470 highway. The car rental agency did not disclose the toll pass program or any "convenience" charges associated with it. In addition to being charged toll fees, National charged me a $4 convenience fee. A convenience that I was not made aware of and not given the opportunity to avoid "Electronic Toll" roads. At the end of the day, sure, I ended up using the toll road at the last minute, and was prepared to pay cash however, to be slapped with a convenience fee on top of all of that reaffirms to me that a shady practice exists in so much that they received an additional $4 from me and any other passenger that did one-way rentals to Denver IAP. National Car rental will no longer be used for my leisure travel nor will my company endorse any of their car rental franchises.
