Guys who work there are plenty friendly, however they are being forced to deal with customers that don't understand trucks actually need fuel to haul the load. Their loads are supposed to weigh 45000. Thanks to getting an empty weight prior to loading and calculating fuel burn between scale and shipper, I ended up in the ballpark of 600 lbs overweight. Unfortunately, most of their customers will not allow them to cut loads.Though there is a brand new cat scale next door the facility that owns it is closed, leaving you with Grand Junction as the nearest cat scale. There are a few local businesses that understand the inconvenience and are friendly enough to let you use their scales. I would not recommend loading there, if you do you will most likely only be able to carry 50-75 gallons of fuel at time.
