Rib City - Rifle

Yesterday evening, a friend & I had dinner at Title's Rib City. Our waiter was quite good, & pleasant. My friend ordered the St. Louis ribs. I ordered the smoked beef brisket dinner. We both had garden salads (the tomatoes were a bit old), which overall were good. Our dinners arrived, and we prepared to eat. I had a baked potato, with butter & sour cream. I took a bite of that, then cut a bite from my brisket. (I very rarely add salt at the table, & virtually never pepper). The brisket was horribly over -peppered! I thought "that can't be right". So I ate more potato, then another bite of beef. Oh dear. I let my friend taste it, he thought it was too peppery, also. The beef was quite tough. We spoke with our waiter, who brought The manager. The manager took it off our ticket. I don't think that I mentioned how tough the meat was to them. The restaurant was clean. All the wait staff seemed very pleasant & friendly. Hot food was hot & cold foods were cold when delivered.
