I recently used ServPro of Golden and received outstanding customer service. Todd and his team went above and beyond to ensure the restoration experience far exceeded my expectations. My washing machine door unexpectedly burst open mid-cycle and water flooded everywhere. ServPro answered my call after hours on a holiday weekend and immediately sent someone to mitigate the water damage. (The other well-known restoration company I called never answered the phone and finally returned my call almost a day later – even though they claimed to be a 24/7 business. When you have a flood, you want immediate responsiveness like Serv Pro demonstrated!) ServPro followed up every day by phone and in person to ensure the repairs were progressing as planned. They also explained each step (de-humidifying and drying) and why it was required. After taking dryness readings one day early in the process, they even removed pieces of equipment that were no longer needed so we didn’t incur unnecessary expenses. Every contact with the company was professional and honest. They delivered on every commitment and made what could have been a very stressful event tolerable. The crew was fantastic and did a great job, which is most important. However I found the office interactions to be disorganized and unprofessional. I remember being quoted a lower price, and once the bill came, they were unwilling to resolve the issue. There was no documentation ever provided during the quote process. Regardless of whose memory was accurate, I don't like feeling taken advantage of as a customer. Ask for a quote in writing if you intend to use them, which I would SOLELY based on the quality of work.
