Shadowcliff Mountain Lodge

I stayed in the girls' dorm on a saturday night as the halfway point on the hiking loop from Bear Lake to Grand Lake and back. It was really excellent and I highly recommend staying there if you want to take a "luxury" backpacking trip. For the same price (and less logistical headache) as a RMNP camping permit you get a warm bed, clean bathroom, coffee, big open lodge room with sunrise and sunset views, and a friendly community feel. Great atmosphere and great value, thanks!

Used to stay here all the time when when I was a kid with my parents over Memorial weekend had really great memories of it still seems like a really good place to stay just haven't had the opportunity to stay there as an adult would definitely recommend them still seems like really good people
