Had a coupon for 50% off a milkshake that came in mail with the grocery ads - which is always a plus. But then the first employee could not get my Steak n Shake App "pay with app" to scan (it had $20 loaded on it) and told me I MUST use alternative payment method, which I did not have. Then I asked employee to get someone to help and he gave me a nasty look but finally got another employee, who was able to scan on first try. Then while waiting 20min at the window for order of a single milkshake, realized that they charged me full price, not the 50% off coupon price. Employee then got a manager did come and give me the difference in cash and apologized. Sadly, by the time I actually got my milkshake and was exiting the drive thru, said milkshake was half melted. :(
