I was listing my property with Christopher Calicchi for the flat fee of $1995.00.
I was understanding the buyers agent would also agree the flat fee terms of $1995.00. as commission.
We had 2 offers the first day on market.
However, when Mr. Calicchia sent me the terms of contract the buyers agent was to receive $7,560.00 in commission.
I told Mr. Calicchia this was not acceptable to me.
He dropped the listing without even giving the buyers agent my terms. It seems as though he was charging $1995.00 to list and then get $7,560.00 as buyers agent once the property sold.
How unethical is that...instead of being up front.
And then to disregard his clients that wanted to purchase the property...?????
