I took my dog in for a semi-urgent dental issue. I was able to see a vet within 12 hrs of calling which I really appreciated.
My overall experience, however, was poor. The vet and vet technician were not assertive and did not make an effort to find out what was wrong with our dog's teeth.
Blood work was $150, which I can get for half the price at the Humane Society of Boulder Valley. Pain medication and an antibiotic totaled close to $90, leaving me with a $200+ bill for barely any veterinary care. In addition, I was quoted for dental surgery up to $1000.
I walked a way from the office feeling scammed with no additional knowledge to what was wrong with my dog's mouth.
I was able to have the surgery done elsewhere for a quarter of the price and better overall animal attentiveness.
