BEWARE: Read the reports from their health inspections! I had the distinctly unpleasant experience of being part of a group of eight diners, six of who ended up PUKING THEIR GUTS out after eating at Zquila! As if this wasn't bad enough, the restaurant did not take any personal responsibility and actually LIED and said that the Health Department (which paid a visit to them following my call about 6 people getting sick with Zquila being the only shared meal) found no issues. Wrong! The health department specifically called me following their investigation and said they found several issues that would lead to food-borne illness including no soap or hand towels in the restroom (ew) and improper hot food holding temperatures.
Leaving aside the fact that 6 of 8 people in our party got to puke for 24 hours, the service was terrible with an extraordinarily long wait (It took almost 90 minutes to get our food at a Mexican restaurant! Probably because the chef was in the bathroom recovering from his/her own puking illness) and our food was delivered in shifts where the food came to 1-2 people followed by long waits for the next batch.
The only two people in our party who didn't get sick theorize that the only reason they didn't get the joy of puking was because their food was too disgusting to eat.
As an FYI, before leaving this review we tried to reach out to the restaurant, both in person and via a letter, to ask that they refund the money for the meal and they first lied and said the health department found "no problems" and then flat out refused to respond.
