BUYER BEWARE!!!!!
Very disappointed. Purchased an entire kitchen appliance set; fridge and microwave brand-new and dishwasher and stove were used.
First Issue: I was told that the delivery date was on Wednesday from 8AM-Noon so naturally I took that day off from work to be home for the delivery. But of course no one showed up... After calling to see what's going on they told me they lost the stove on accident which is the reason for not having delivered anything (would have been nice to get a phone call considering I lost wages from not going to work). They then rescheduled for the next Friday, which of course again requires me to take off from work. SO now I am in over $1000 in lost-wages just from their lack of organization and communication.
Second Issue: The stove they eventually delivered was not even the stove I purchased, and in addition, the one they delivered was extremely dirty with grease drip stains all over the place and food still in the oven. The oven light was shattered and glass was all over the inside of the oven. Now I have to wait for a new Whirlpool stove to come into one of their stores before I can get this filthy and non-matching stove swapped out.
Third Issue: Brand-New Whirlpool fridge stopped working after less than two weeks and of course has to happen the day after I spent over $250 on groceries which all had to be thrown in the trash! SO FRUSTRATING! SO I called back to the store and they directed me to call BrandSource to have the appliance repaired, thus I called BrandSource and what do you know, they don't service Whirlpool appliances, how convenient! I was then directed to contact Whirlpool directly for repairs and after spending over 2 hours on hold going back and forth with Whirlpool I was finally able to get a repair appointment scheduled but of course they are behind schedule for two weeks so looks like I have to wait another half a month just to get the fridge working again!!! SO what am I supposed to do in the meantime? God forbid Appliance Factory actually spend $150 to get someone out here within 2-3 days, nooooooooo, they would rather just pawn their customers off onto someone else so it's not their problem. I mean they got their money didn't they, why then would they care about any issues I'm having thereafter?!?! LOL, this has been the worst large purchase I have ever made and will more than likely never purchase from this place again. I realize $1400 is probably not a lot of money to them but to me it's a hell of a lot of money and all I ever asked for was for the appliances I purchased to be delivered as promised and be working as promised. Oh and also, on more than several occasions, I was told I would get a call back from Appliance Factory/Affordable Used Appliances and never have I ever received a call back, I have had continue to call them back once realizing that they had no intention of ever returning calls that they say they will return.
Does this company ever do anything that they claim they will? You can only say sorry so many times before it loses it's value. So frustrated and upset I will be calling my credit card company to dispute the charges and return the mixed up junk they tried to send me.
UPDATE: Whirlpool as been out to my house two times now to repair the fridge and are ultimately unable to do so. They have directed me back to Appliance Factory for a replacement. UGH! It's now been over 5 weeks that I've been dealing with appliance issues!
