Mark Scavo & Bob Nicholson... Shame on you both! Standard Fence Co does not have an ounce of integrity so please beware of this company before making your choice.!! I was quoted a price on an iron fence by Bob Nicholson. He sent me a written price proposal that I agreed to, therefore, I signed and returned it to Standard Fence. Bob Nicholson later called/emailed me to inform me that he made a clerical error and that the quote was actually over an additional $1000.00 more than what was in writing. Standard Fence would not honor their quote. I spoke to the owner, Mark Scavo, who said to me "We aren't trying to bait & switch you." A company who can't stand behind their written proposals is poorly operated.
